The balm only works if it stays on your heels.
Left uncovered, a night cream is mostly gone within about ten minutes — half absorbed, half on your bedsheets. Covered, it stays in contact with your skin for the whole eight hours you're asleep.
That's the entire job of these socks. They are not a treatment and there's nothing in them that does anything on its own. They're the lid. A silicone-lined heel holds the balm against your skin instead of letting it wick into fabric or transfer onto your sheets, and a nylon upper keeps them comfortable enough to actually sleep in — which matters more than it sounds, because a sock you take off at 1am seals nothing.
This is the cheapest part of the routine and the one people skip. Applying a 60% urea balm and then getting into bed barefoot throws most of it away.
How to use them
- Apply Dermastep Overnight Heel Balm to clean, dry feet.
- Pull the socks on straight away, before the balm has a chance to transfer.
- Sleep in them.
- Remove in the morning and rinse your feet.

Care
Wash every two or three uses. Urea balm builds up in the lining over time, and a clean sock grips better and stays put through the night.
Please note
These are a cover layer worn over a separately applied balm. They are not a treatment on their own and are not a medical device. If you have reduced sensation or circulation in your feet, or any medical condition affecting them, check with your doctor before wearing anything snug on your feet overnight.
